Why do we need fire alarm system inspections?
The maintenance, testing and inspection requirements for your fire alarm system are enforced by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Standard 72: National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code; which sets standards for the maximum amount of time allowed between a fire alarm inspection.
Your fire alarm systems should receive regular in-person inspections by qualified technicians to ensure that all parts of the system are working properly. This includes, but is not limited to, control panel, pull stations, audible alarms, power supply, batteries, monitor modules, heat, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors .
